"It began with a childhood dream, The Pyrenees, seen only through the imagination in school books. No pre-establish itinerary, no freeways, nor shortcuts, just the simple pleasure of being in the saddle savouring the sinuous shapes of the road on a metallic body. A tent protects me during the freezing cold nights, which I spend half awake to admire and photograph the heavens. Autumn colours match my mood, I'm safe on my steel horse and wearing my suit of armor. As the landscape transforms, the way I drive is informed, from calm and slow to fast and full of adrenaline. Human contact is limited just to lunchtimes or to ask, with the necessary linguistic obstacles, information as to where to spend the night. Every day I travel without a predefined path, my journey turns out to be more varied and fascinating than I could have imagined in my childhood dreams."
